Hello students and parents, this is Principal Graham.  I hope you are doing well and are ready for a great new school year!  The staff and I are excited to work with you and provide the best possible educational experience during our remote online learning instructional program.  Be on the look out for the beginning of the year letter that will be mailed to your home.  This letter will inform you regarding beginning of the year procedures, dates, and how to prepare your child for a good start. It will also list the name of your child's teacher.  All new students will be provided with either an IPAD (grades preschool - 2nd) or a Chromebook (grades 3rd - 5th).  If your child was attending at our school last year and still does not have a device or you need a hotspot, please complete the survey link(s) provided below.   One survey is to request a device, the other survey is to request a hotspot.  Parents may also simply call the school to request a device or hotspot. It is the goal of our school and the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) that every child has their own device to use throughout the school year.  As we eventually transition to instruction at the school, your child will still use his or her device both at school and at home through a hybrid learning schedule. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 18, 2025. Finally, please use this website, our Instagram, and Twitter accounts for the latest school information.  We know this is a difficult time for many of you, however, we will do our best to help and support students and families as we overcome the pandemic and obstacles to ensure your child receives a rigorous and stimulating education in a safe learning environment.  Please remember: "Sunland Elementary School - The Pride of Sunland!"
